On the eve of St Nicolas Day December 5 you could see strange characters wandering around the Czech Embassy. St. Nicholas (Mikuláš), the Angel (anděl) who represents the Good, and the Devil (čert) representing the Evil met with kids at the Embassy to ask them if they were good in the past year. Good kids are rewarded with sweets or other treats that are handed out by the Angel.
