Our February 2025 Rental Report shows that the median asking rent across the 50 largest metros dropped to $1,691, marking the 19th consecutive month of decline. Despite this gradual dip, rents remain significantly higher than pre-pandemic levels—still over 14% above what Americans were paying before.
