Another big update for our enlisted force! Beginning with the 19E9 promotion cycle, the Weighted Airman Promotion System testing requirement for active-duty promotion to the grades of E-7 through E-9 is eliminated. Airmen testing for the grades of E-7 and E-8 this year are still required to take the test. In the 2020 promotion cycle, testing to these grades will be removed.
