After being struck by a car in the middle of Jerusalem Ave in Bellmore this morning, cars were going around him as one person moved him to the shoulder and reached out for help. As one person waited with him, I raced to the scene - only 3 minutes away - but sadly he did not survive. If this is your cat, he was transported to the Town of Hempstead animal shelter.
