Heres a little close up of my experience of The Kite Festival at the National Arboretum Canberra last weekend. Give people an activity in an outdoor space and they will come . And wow did they turn up in numbers . Thousands came along to enjoy the stunning arboretum landscape and amphiteatre to fly kites, picnic and observe the skies above the 100 forests representing 100 threatened tree species. What a great place,  ever-changing over the seasons and literally growing by the day. thanks to all
