Teacup the gray crowned crane has a variety of different feather types. Her gorgeous sickle shaped feathers are my absolute favorites and water sits in little jeweled beads on top of them. Teacup is not particularly fond of being a flock bird, as she used to live with a male. She frequently greets visitors and has a characteristic “Raol!” call that echoes around the ranch.
