*** TROPICAL CYCLONE HAROLD UPDATE *** Slow moving Tropical Cyclone Harold has lashed Vanuatu and surrounding islands and is on track for passing west of Fiji over the next 48 hours as a Category 4. Harold made landfall on Monday as a Category 5 cyclone in the Sana province causing severe damage to housing, infrastructure and communication lines in the area. Tropical Cyclone Harold has thrashed Vanuatu as it travelled through the Pacific. The category 5 storm caused damage across the island nation with winds of up to 235km/h, and communication between Vanuatu's two largest islands is now down.
