I recorded the process of creating this monotype/monoprint to give you a taste of what goes into making a piece like this. Put your sound on to hear me talking you through. Many hours of work have been edited down to just 2 minutes! Each layer of ink needs to dry completely so the process is spread out over several weeks. On this original print I really enjoyed using veils of graded colour to give a sense of light falling across a garden scene in the early morning when there's mist in the air. W
