Darbie the little Havanese has come a long way since being rescued. While she can be cautious with new people, she is starting to enjoy a little lap time with the rehab team members. Darbie is totally relaxed with other dogs, though, and loves to play. When it is time for a rest, she happily snuggles up next to her kennel mate for a nap. Darbie is still working on leash training, but she enjoys her outside time. She will need a securely fenced yard to allow her to work on her potty training and

Wesley is a 7-year-old Havanese who was rescued five weeks ago. Our dedicated rehab team is working with him to get him ready for his forever home. Wesley had to have major dental surgery - 17 extractions - because his teeth were decayed. That is common with many of the dogs we rescue. We will update Wesley's progress as he continues to heal physically and emotionally.
