Since 2015, Chief Constable Adam Palmer has led the sworn and civilian members of the Vancouver Police Department. At his side are three Deputy Chief Constables, each leading their own Division: DCC Howard Chow, DCC Steve Rai, and DCC Fiona Wilson.

The VPD believes in a collaborative approach to increasing safety in Vancouver, with active outreach in our many diverse communities. Our community engagement promotes cultural awareness, safety, and builds trust in police, which is essential to reducing crime.
