Shannongrove House (or Shannon Grove), N of Pallaskenry, Co.Limerick. This is a rare and beautiful house of 1709. Grounds run down to the Shannon. Built by the Bury family. Bought 1860 by John Sheehy. Inherited by his son Michael Sheehy. Michael died 1921. His widow still living there in 1927. Michael's son Jack Sheehy sold it 1947 or 1948.
