Food & Nutrition — Downtown Eastside Neighbourhood House
The DTES NH hosts many food & nutrition related initiatives including Right to Food Zine, Tues Night Food Prep and nutritional community outreach.
Community Drop Ins — Downtown Eastside Neighbourhood House
The Community Drop-In (CDI) is the most attended of our programs. This program hosts a variety of activities - Blender Nutrition, weekly Community Kitchens, Right to Food initiatives, and hosting various community partners who connect community members with resources.
Community Kitchens — Downtown Eastside Neighbourhood House
Our community kitchens are busy and active including nutritional support and activities for seniors, kids and families.
Family Programs — Downtown Eastside Neighbourhood House
DTES NH United Way BC School’s Out programs serve families and children ages 6-12, and consist of 3 program themed days: Kid’s Tutoring, Drawing & Painting with Arts Umbrella, and the Kids Community Kitchen.
