A driver in Sacramento struck and killed a woman Wednesday evening, police said. Around 8 p.m., officers responded to a crash near N B and Dos Rios streets. When they arrived, they found a woman partially in the roadway.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Officers arrested a man in connection to a hit-and-run crash that left a woman injured. According to the Sacramento Police Department, a woman was hospitalized after she was hit by a vehicle while riding a scooter in the area of Fair Oaks Boulevard and Campus Commons Road.

Officers responded to the crash on North B Street near Dos Rios Street shortly before 8 p.m. The woman died on the scene, officials said.
