Gibson is directing the follow-up to one of the biggest independent movies of all time, 'The Passion of the Christ.'

Mel Gibson’s long-awaited sequel to The Passion of the Christ, entitled The Resurrection of the Christ, has a release date, The post Mel Gibson Releasing Resurrection of the Christ Part One and Two in 2027 appeared first on MovieMaker Magazine.

In an X post on Aug. 5, Lionsgate film company announced the film will be split into two parts and will be released starting Holy Week in 2027.
