MACOMB COUNTY, MI -- A 16-year-old Detroit teen was formally charged with murder Thursday in connection with a fatal crash that took place Saturday in Warren. Daniel Canales was arraigned in 41B District Court on a charge of second-degree murder, along with several others felonies related to the crash.

Authorities said the chase started on the Gulf Freeway near Scarsdale and ended on Broadway at 54th Street. The driver was shot and killed by officers.
