Left-hander Zach Penrod, who made his MLB debut late last season and came into camp with a chance to compete for a bullpen spot, developed elbow soreness after a bullpen session on Tuesday. He subsequently had an MRI on the elbow. The team is awaiting results and expects to know more on Friday.
