A new lawsuit filed Tuesday by Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison against the Trump Administration alleges they’re bullying vulnerable children for their threats to cut funding due to transgender participation in girl’s sports.

Ellison took action this week amid ongoing legal threats from the federal government against Minnesota and other states for defying Trump’s order on transgender athletes.

The lawsuit sets the stage for another legal battle over the issue after the government sued Maine for its refusal to ban trans athletes.
