The NWS Raleigh NC released a flash flood warning at 3:40 p.m. on Friday in effect until 6:30 p.m. The warning is for Harnett, Hoke, Montgomery, Moore and Richmond counties.

NWS issues a Flood Watch for DC, Maryland, and Virginia due to potential flash flooding from expected heavy rainfall.

Storms brought very heavy rain to portions of Western Pennsylvania and Northern West Virginia on Saturday. Isolated 1-3"+ swaths of rain occurred along our I-80 counties and in portions of Washington and Monongalia counties, which prompted flash flood warnings.

People who have been waiting to return to their homes following flooding nine months ago have been hit again. The overnight downpour has thwarted plans, as some had been expecting to return to their properties in Bridgend within a few months.
