Delta Air Lines said Friday it will not use artificial intelligence to set personalized ticket prices for passengers after facing sharp criticism from U.S. lawmakers.

The Atlanta-based carrier made this clarification after Democratic Senators Ruben Gallego, Mark Warner and Richard Blumenthal expressed concerns last week that Delta would implement AI to determine individual pricing that could potentially raise fares to each consumer’s personal "pain point."
