Germany's interior minister said on Monday it was still too soon to jump to any conclusions about the man suspected of driving his car into a Christmas market in Magdeburg and killing at least five people.

Authorities in Germany on Monday released details of past threats made by the suspected perpetrator of the deadly car rampage through a Christmas market in Magdeburg. According to the Ministry of Justice in the north-eastern state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern,

Police say the driver is under arrest after plowing into the crowd at a Christmas market in Magdeburg, Germany, killing at least five people - including a 9-year-old - and injuring 200 others.

The suspect in the attack in Germany had history of threats and harassment though no record of violence and an ideology that didn’t fit familiar patterns.

German security and intelligence chiefs faced questioning Monday about the car-ramming attack that killed five people and wounded more than 200 at a Christmas market 10 days ago.
