Washington County will host a fire education and inspections meeting March 27 for contractors and facility operators.
Crews battle the Hope Fire in the northeast corner of the state in July. With fall weather dampening wildland fire conditions in Washington, officials are beginning to reflect on the fire season.
The fire is currently burning near Highway 1074 and Ward Line Road.
