A young male, possibly a teenager, was fatally shot in North Lawndale early Monday morning, according to Chicago police. Officers were on patrol when they discovered the victim, age unknown, with a gunshot wound to the head in the 1500 block of South Kildare Avenue around 2:10 a.m., police said. He was unresponsive.
