The weekend of February 24 at the box office saw Captain America: Brave New World with The Monkey making a strong debut and Dog Man earning even more.

Brave New World” fell at the box office with a 68% drop in its second weekend, marking the third biggest drop of the Marvel Cinematic Universe so far after flops “The Marvels” (78% drop) and “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” (69% drop).

Brave New World” is a must-see and necessary for keeping up with the ever-expanding web of MCU stories. However, for the casual Marvel viewer, this film is a let down, providing  insufficient entertainment,

Brave New World, is not, I would say, appointment viewing. But it is striking because it is a film that wants to be about deep political issues — but is constrained. You can see that this was a film that once had something to say about Donald Trump,
