The NBA has handed out a massive fine to Golden State Warriors champion Draymond Green. Shams Charania of ESPN reported on X that the NBA has handed Draymond Green a $50,000 fine for remarks that cast doubt on the integrity of the officiating, specifically referencing the 5.5-point spread in a recent game.
One offshoot of the hamstring injury suffered by Warriors star Stephen Curry in Game 1 of the team's sereis vs. Minnesota has been the return to the rotation of much-maligned wing Jonathan Kuminga. After being all but cast out of the Warriors' rotation, Kuminga has had a resurgence, scoring 23 points in Game 4 after posting 30 in Game 3.
According to Sam Amick of The Athletic, the Greek Freak has "been known to be a dream target of the Warriors for a long time," and this offseason could be their only realistic window to land him.
Wolves in five once more? After beating the Lakers 4-1 in the first round, the Timberwolves have an opportunity to close out the Warriors in five games on Wednesday night at Target Center, which would mean advancing to the Western Conference Finals for the second consecutive year.
