Atlanta’s 5,000-capacity “No Kings” rally quickly reached its limit, with thousands more demonstrators gathered outside barriers to hear speakers in front of the state Capitol. Huge crowds marched in New York, Denver, Chicago, Houston and Los Angeles, some behind “no kings” banners.
"Being brave for what we hold dear — our freedoms, our democracy, and each other — it's on us, guys," said the actor at a demonstration in New York City on Saturday.
Around 2,000 protests were planned on Saturday in opposition to President Donald Trump. Large crowds turned out in cities like Portland, Denver, Chicago, Houston and Los Angeles – and in smaller communities in traditionally conservative areas.
