More details have now come to light into how Netflix calculates its viewership numbers for WWE Raw. Since Raw's debut episode on Netflix, the show has pulled in an average of 3.7m viewers, although for the last few weeks that number hovers more closely to the 3 million mark.

Over the past couple of months, we’ve already seen a considerable number of archived WWE content land on Netflix in the United States or Internationally. This includes decades worth of premium live events such as Wrestlemania, Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, and Summerslam .

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics noticed that the calculation for total views and watch hours differs for WWE Raw compared to other top ten shows. Thurston notes the formula for views is "Views = hours viewed × runtime (in hours)," but for WWE Raw, the calculations don't always add up.
