Paul Blackburn won't be rejoining the Mets just yet. Mendoza revealed that the team has decided to give him one more rehab appearance, Saturday in Syracuse. The right-hander looked good during his most recent outing at the same level.

The right-hander had been optioned to the minors by the Mets three times, and cut once, before re-signing with them on Tuesday.
