Amazon and B&H are embroiled in a MacBook price war, with both retailers discounting the latest M4 MacBook Air to a record low of $909.

Amazon has the Apple 2025 MacBook Air laptop with M4 chip priced as low as $912. This is a 9% discount from its normal price of $999 — amounting to a total savings of $87. That’s not much but it is the steepest discount we’ve since yet since the brand new MacBook Air first launched less than two months ago.

At the time of writing, the midnight black variant of the M4 MacBook Air was listed for only $911.42 on Amazon, or almost $88 off its $999 MSRP. (Other colorways had fallen to $91
