Alex, the adorable Australian teacher who supported Kitty throughout season one, is barely in season two at all, and even Yuri feels less important to the story by the time this shorter run comes to an end. That's also the case with Praveena, who starts out strong before fading into the background as other stories jostle for centre stage.

The eighth and final episode of XO, Kitty season 2 starts on a very happy note with the news that her long estranged grandmother and great aunt are finally willing to meet and make up after 50-plus years apart. And it's all thanks to Kitty!

The second season of XO, Kitty is two episodes shorter than its first season, and it seems Netflix was responsible for the decision to cut the season's episode count -- not the creative team.
