Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped up to help Los Angeles wildfire victims, but their gesture was mocked by American filmmaker Justine Bateman. The Family Ties alum called the royal couple “disaster tourists” after their pictures surfaced online.

The pair currently live about 90 miles north of the city, however, “Meghan was born and raised in Los Angeles so this is, and always will be, home to her.”

The “Family Ties” actress, 58, took to X (formerly known as Twitter) Saturday evening to blast the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for their Friday visit to victims of the Eaton Fire in Pasadena, calling it a “repulsive ‘photo op'” and labeling the couple disaster tourists.
