A man has died after a reported assault in Sacramento in the early hours of Monday morning, the police department said.

St. Martinville Police confirm that 16-year-old Iris Davis, reported missing on July 17, 2025, has been found deceased in a field near her home.

The shooting left 27-year-old Benjamin Ryan Castaneda dead on June 2, according to LA County sheriff's deputies.
