SONOMA COUNTY, CA - According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a preliminary 2.6 magnitude quake occurred near Glen Ellen Sunday afternoon.

A magnitude 7 earthquake has rocked Alaska on Saturday, Dec. 6, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

Officials said the megaquake advisory is not a prediction and the probability of a magnitude 8 or larger quake is only about 1%, but there's hope it will serve as a wake-up call.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA - Sunday night, a preliminary 2.7 magnitude quake was detected near San Ramon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Portions of the North Bay were shook Sunday afternoon by a 4.0 magnitude earthquake that began in east Sonoma County, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The clusters of earthquakes have all been underneath the East Bay suburb of San Ramon, which is close to the Calaveras fault. There were at least 19 earthquakes of magnitude 2 or greater on Monday alone.

The federal government and earthquake experts blamed a technical glitch for the alert that sent warnings hundreds of miles away last week.

San Ramon was hit by more than 90 tremors in mid-November.

CONCRETE, Wash. - A 2.9-magnitude earthquake was felt near Concrete, Washington on Monday morning. According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake struck at 8:29 a.m. about 2.5 miles west southwest of Concrete.
