Dallas Cowboys players hyped head coach Brian Schottenheimer for his high energy and the excitement he brings to the field, and a new mic'd up training camp video shows he is as advertised.

Cornerback Caelen Carson hyperextended his knee Sunday, an injury that will keep him out 4-6 weeks, Todd Archer of ESPN reports. It comes a day after an MRI showed a fractured bone and sprain in the right knee of left tackle Tyler Guyton, who also will miss 4-6 weeks.

Dallas Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs is working his way back from knee surgery and expects to be back on the field in September.

The offensive lineman Rob Jones reportedly broke a bone in his neck. According to ESPN's Todd Archer and Adam Schefter, Jones is expected to miss between two-to-three months of action. Back in March, the Cowboys added Jones on a one-year deal. It was for a reported $4.75 million.

Tyler Guyton's injury put the Cowboys on a rollercoaster ride Monday night, but they dodged a bullet. Brevyn Spann-Ford has also gone down.
