Dozens of Alberta scientists, doctors and researchers have penned an open letter calling on the Alberta government to reject the recommendations contained in its recently released pandemic response report.

Premier Smith said critics of the report are trying to control the narrative and she doesn't want to see "contrarian voices" shut out when reviewing pandemic response measures.

I was troubled months ago when the provincial government appointed a chair and members of the task force to review our provincial pandemic response. The appointments appeared to reflect a bias, with at least two of the members having been disciplined by AHS for failing to adhere to masking or vaccine mandates and the chair being an outspoken advocate of anti-vaccine mandates.
