A new poll shows former Orange County Rep. Katie Porter's support in the 2026 governor's race dropped after she tangled with a reporter in a TV interview.
Becerra’s campaign, meanwhile, is calling the race “wide open” — implying the Porter videos did, in fact, do significant damage to her chances while calling the former attorney general “the clear Democratic alternative to Katie Porter in the race for California Governor.”
