It's time for one of our least favorite annual storylines: greedy, grubby fingers trying to wreck something that doesn’t need fixing.

A GRIP ON SPORTS • There was a time Tuesday night, around 8:20, when a picture came into my head. A bunch of people lined up, wearing those ubiquitous gray “Gonzaga” sweatshirts, following each other as they slowly step forward and jump off a cliff.

The fourth installment of the Gonzaga-Kentucky nonconference series officially has a date and location. The Zags and Wildcats will meet again on Dec. 5 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, the home venue of the NHL’s Nashville Predators.

The Kentucky Wildcats and Gonzaga Bulldogs are set to clash in Music City on Dec. 5, 2025. More specific information on the game will be announced later, but tickets will go on sale on Friday, March 7, at 10 a.m. at www.bridgestonearena.com and on the Ticketmaster app.
