It's been five years since the COVID-19 pandemic first arrived in Ohio. While many of COVID's hallmarks have receded, its impact remains.

The number of new COVID-19 cases in Ohio dropped by about 1,000 in one week, moving from 4,141 last week to 3,110 this week, the state reported Thursday. It was the fourth straight weeks that case numbers fell.
