The Sacramento Kings edged out the Houston Rockets with a final score of 132-127 during last night’s thrilling matchup. DeMar DeRozan was the standout performer for the Kings and led the team to a much-needed victory.

Malik Monk could return to the lineup when the Kings play host to the Houston Rockets on Thursday at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento. Monk missed Tuesday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks due to right groin soreness.

The Sacramento Kings’ winning streak under interim head coach Doug Christie came to an end after seven games on Tuesday in Milwaukee. But Sacramento is expected to return to those winning ways against the Houston Rockets tonight, in some part because the visitors are on the second night of a back-to-back.
