Vejmelka allowed a goal on 22 shots in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Blackhawks. Vejmelka won his third outing in a row and has given up just four goals on 70 shots in that span. The goal against was a Seth Jones shot from the top of the circle on the power play in the first period.

Vejmelka (illness) will be active and backup Connor Ingram on Saturday against Los Angeles, per Utah radio broadcaster Mike Folta.

The Calgary Flames find themselves in the same Wild Card battle that Utah is in. However, Calgary is better positioned to jump into the final spot in the West. The only issue they are facing is that Dustin Wolf is experiencing some fatigue from playing so much, and Dan Vladar is having a terrible season.
