In the latest episode of his podcast "The Why with Dwyane Wade" which was published Thursday, Wade revealed that he had surgery to remove a tumour from his kidney in December of 2023. Wade said doctors removed 40 per cent of his right kidney and tests later revealed that the tumour was cancerous.
