The winner of the game between the Tigers (8-1, 4-1 American Conference) and Tulane (6-2, 3-1) on Nov. 7 (8 p.m., ESPN) at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium will be in position to win out and reach the conference title game. The loser will need a lot of help and will no longer have control of their College Football Playoff destiny.

Thursday's matchup between the Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders was not one of those nights. The Broncos won the low-scoring affair, 10-7. Both teams struggled to get much of anything going on offense. The Broncos started the game with four straight three-and-outs, which pretty much set the tone for the rest of the night.
