Wells Fargo is giving a total of $6 million to six nonprofits to bolster housing access, job training and small businesses in west Charlotte, the banking giant announced Tuesday morning.
One person is hurt after a reported shooting in west Charlotte, according to Medic. The incident occurred in the 3100 block of Queen City Drive around 1 p.m. Saturday. EMS personnel responded to the scene and transported one person to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
One person was shot in west Charlotte Saturday afternoon, MEDIC said.

The shooting occurred following a report of a break-in, the department said in a news release.
