After losing last season's top two tight ends in Robbie Ouzts and C.J. Dippre, who combined for 29 catches, 364 yards, and two touchdowns, Alabama has added three tight ends through the portal while also returning Josh Cuevas.

Alabama has added a second tight end from the transfer portal in as many days as Troy transfer Brody Dalton announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide on Thursday evening. Dalton visited Alabama on Thursday and made his decision official by the evening.

Dalton, a Fyffe native, began his collegiate career at UAB. He spent his freshman and redshirt freshman seasons with the Blazers. Then the 6-5, 250-pound tight end transferred to Troy, where he spent the past two seasons.
