Skydance Television president Matt Thunell is set to add oversight of Paramount’s TV studios to his duties amid the pending closure of the Paramount-Skydance deal, Variety has confirmed. Thunell will run a merged division comprised of his current studio Skydance Television,

Matt Thunell is set to lead the studio, which will house Taylor Sheridan’s series, Showtime projects and the Skydance-produced ‘Reacher,’ among others.

Skydance Television president Matt Thunell is set to oversee Paramount Television Studios following the closing of the two companies’ $8 billion merger. Thunell will report to newly appointed Paramount Pictures co-chair and Paramount Television chair Dana Goldberg.
