The nuggets, made from all-white meat chicken marinated in jalapeño buttermilk and coated with a blend of breadcrumbs and tortilla chips, began generating buzz when Taco Bell started testing them in Minneapolis in 2023 and Houston in 2024.

Chicken strips, tacos and burritos are making their way to the Taco Bell menu starting this Tuesday. On the heels of its Crispy Chicken Nuggets, Taco Bell opted to take the tortilla-coated crunch and pack it into new formats.
