Sunny, breezy and highs in the lower 60s Tuesday for the Upstate, lower 50s in the mountains. Wednesday will be warm and windy with gusts 25-30 mph at times, but highs near 70 degrees. Another cold front is set to swing through Friday returning scattered showers to the area. As a result, I have made Friday an Impact Day for rain.

Clouds will move in from the north today and we’ll see a mix of sun and clouds throughout the day. Temperatures will warm from the 50s this morning into the lower 70s this afternoon. A stray light shower can’t be ruled out this morning in Citrus or Hernando County.

Afternoon highs will ramp up into the low to mid 70s by Thursday ahead of an approaching low pressure system. Look for a line of storms to form pushing in from west to east ahead of a front overnight Thursday into Friday.
