The Backstreet Boys kicked off their summer residency at Sphere in Las Vegas on July 11, and Parade was there to catch a show opening weekend.

The group launched their Into the Millennium shows with a slew of emotions: "I started breaking down and crying because it was so emotional and surreal."

Classics from the self-titled 1996 “Backstreet Boys” like “As Long As You Love Me,” “Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)” worked their way into the show. “Black and Blue” was represented by “More Than That” and “Shape of My Heart.”

Preparing for liftoff with Millennium opener “Larger Than Life,” the global stars of our childhood blasted off with a 25-song set, christening Sphere as the first pop act to perform there.
