The first report came in around 10:20 a.m. from St. Mary’s Lane, where a resident discovered a grenade on the side of the road.

One live grenade and one disabled grenade were found within hours in two separate places in Norwalk on Monday. Officers were first called to a home on St. Mary’s Lane around 10:20 a.m. where a resident reportedly found a grenade on the side of the road.

No additional grenades or suspicious devices were found in each area where the grenades were located, police said.
