A technical snag delayed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's aircraft at Deoghar in Jharkhand this afternoon. The aircraft is grounded at the city's airport until the issue is resolved, causing a delay in Prime Minister's return to New Delhi, NDTV reported.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's aircraft was grounded at Jharkhand's Deoghar airport on Friday due to a technical issue, after he flew in there on his way to Bihar's Jamui to participate in an event commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Birsa Munda.

According to an official statement, the Prime Minister had been at the Deoghar airport for over an hour as discussions were underway to arrange alternative travel plans for his return to the capital.
