MLB All-Star Game history was made with the first tiebreaking swing-off and the NL winning after blowing a 6-0 lead.

Yesterday we discussed why Brent Rooker was at a disadvantage in the MLB Home Run Derby, since the wall in left field at Truist Park in Atlanta is ten feet further from home plate than the wall in right, and with five of the eight derby participants being left-handers, that could have an impact on Rooker's odds of winning.

There's not much better than the game's best power hitters showing off their strength and skill during the Derby. Tonight, we'll get to witness James Wood, Byron Buxton, Oneil Cruz, Jazz Chisholm, Cal Raleigh, Matt Olson, Junior Caminero and Brent Rooker battle it out to decide the 2025 champion.

Dodgers outfielder Teoscar Hernandez was crowned 2024 Home Run Derby champion after defeating Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. in the finals. Hernandez slugged 14 homers in the final round, one more than Witt, to become the first Dodgers player to win the Derby title.

And it was also a special night for Mariners fans, who were happy to see Raleigh recognized for his incredible season. His 38 home runs are the most ever by an American League player at the All-Star break.
